i look a bit like this:
2. what is later comics about?
isolation, adaptation, grief, survival, experience, individuality, love …
but mostly, that there is always more than one way to look at anything.
3. why later?
we are always shaped by what has come before, but we are also creative.
4. why comics?
these things happen, when you take one interior design degree, twisted by one english lit degree, and can’t decide whether to be optimistic or ironic.
5. is later comics set in Vancouver?
kind of, but not really. it all depends on what you think makes up a city.
6. what happened?
same old story of global catastrophe, affecting all of humanity and leaving only a few people left to witness the fallout. we’ll get to this later.
7. why aren’t there any zombie monsters?
sometimes, life just doesn’t turn out to be as exciting as you thought it might. sometimes, you have to make your own fun.
8. why so sad? why not funny or exciting?
we do what we can.
9. what’s your stance on grammar and punctuation?
they are incredibly useful tools. get to know them and they will help you!
for instance: no capitals? no infrastructure or hierarchy here. punctuation? visual cues to guide you along and tell you when to pause.
10. how are the comics created?
using a nice balance of pen and paper and graphics software.
